Jerry was active on the American Water Ski Association Board in the mid-seventies through the eighties, serving as President in 1977-78-79 and as Chairman of the Board from 1979 until 1987. Edwards was U.S. Team Coach in 1979 - 1981 - 1983. He serverd as a trustee of the AWSEF from 1979-1989.
