She had an impressive career both as competitive skier and an official. At the 1972 National Water Ski Championships, she won women's tricks and jumping. In 1974, she placed second in slalom and overall at the Masters Tournament. She was a member of the 1975 U.S.A. Water Ski Team, and that same year she became one of the first women to jump more than 120 feet. As a Women 3 competitor she continues to give to the sport of water skiing as a rated driver, judge and tournament announcer.
