One of the Sport's most active officials in the sixties and seventies and served as president of the AWSA Board of Directors in 1976-77 after terms as vice president and treasurer. He was elected parliamentarian by the board for many years after he became an honorary member. Dave drafted the bylaws for the American Water Ski Educational Foundation in 1981.
