A member of the Rollins College Ski Team


Paul Lupinacci of Morris Town, Ct. and Boston, Massachusetts, was an accomplished intercollegiate skier and avid boater. Paul passed away on April 28 after a sudden and brief battle with neuroendocrine cancer. He was an enthusiastic member of the Bantam Lake Waterski Club, the longest continuous running water ski club in the United States located in Morris, Connecticut. 


Paul was a standout member of the Rollins Waterski Team from 1973 to 1977. His three event performances were essential to Rollins winning the 1976 and 1977 Southern Regional Intercollegiate Championship.  Paul was gregarious and compassionate.  He was always looking for a good time and provided great camaraderie for teammates and competing teams, especially at tournaments.  Paul liked to baby his GTO and matching Honda 500 Motorcycle. He was a Four-Year Letterman at Rollins College, graduating with a degree in accounting and managed family holdings in Connecticut following a successful career in industry.   


Paul is fondly remembered by fellow Rollins team members and legacy friends, Bert Langdon, Billy Massey, Ina Rothenbuecher, Steve Lupinacci, Dede David Mahler, Bobby Reich, Dave and Debbie Wiley Susan Douglass Quirk, Ric Savid, Lisa Haile, Dave Freygang, among others.
