Jan Thurgar's remarkable career in water skiing spans over four decades,  during which she has made significant contributions at national,  continental, and international levels:  World Championships Official: Thurgar has served as an appointed judge at eight IWWF World Racing Championships between 1989 and 2015,  including roles as Chief Judge and Assistant Chief Judge.
