USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Hall of Fame Class Alumni,

We are reaching out to our Hall of Fame alumni which includes Hall of Fame Inductees, Award of Distinction Honorees and Lifetime Achievement Alumni to engage you in the next exciting chapter of the USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Hall of Fame.

On July 13th, we opened Phase 1 of the new USA Water Sports Complex with great success. Having the cable park, restaurant and pro shop complete gives us great visibility and much-needed revenue sources for the Foundation and its programs. Now we are looking ahead to Phase 2, which is the completion of the ski lake, walk of fame brick path and new Hall of Fame. No one will be more affected by this new Hall of Fame than you- the alumni of the Hall of Fame. It will be an inspiring place to honor the very best of those who have contributed most significantly to our great sport. It will tell your incredible stories to the next generations.

We need your help in reaching our fundraising goal. We are asking each Hall of Fame alumni member to host a small fundraiser at the location of their choice. It can be at your home lake; it can be a dinner, an auction of equipment or memorabilia, a ski or wake event, or any event of you choice, big or small. Alternatively, you can also choose to donate much needed cash instead of hosting an event. All proceeds of these individual fundraisers or donations go to the Foundation and donors will receive a tax receipt for donations to a 501c3 organization. There will be a special Wall of Fame section dedicated to all of our Hall of Fame alumni who took part in this initial fundraising effort.

The Foundation will announce the results and recognize the Hall of Fame alumni participants who took part in this fundraising effort at the 2020 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies at Walt Disney World on May 2nd, 2020. If you can raise between $1,000 and $5,000 per event- we can potentially be looking at raising between $150,000 to $175,000. You can choose to work together with your fellow alumni as well if that makes it easier. For those of you who raise $5,000, you will receive a Lifetime Membership. If you are already a Lifetime Member, we have another special incentive package for you.

We believe this will not only be an amazing fundraising move, but it will also engage our Hall of fame alumni to raise awareness throughout the United States about our Foundation, our sport and our Hall of Fame. Best of all, we support the future of our sport so that following generations may enjoy the same amazing experiences on the water that you have all enjoyed for so many years.
