Claire Rolbiecki is Awarded the 2025 Dave Goode Scholarship

Claire Rolbiecki from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has been awarded the $1,000 Dave Goode Scholarship.

"Thank you for awarding me as the recipient of the Dave Goode Scholarship of $1,000 this year! I am deeply grateful to not only Dave as the donor, but the Foundation as a whole. What an amazing, support-filled sport that we get to partake in and connect with so many others as well." says Claire.

I feel immense gratitude for being awarded this scholarship. Receiving this money is truly a blessing, and I can’t thank Dave Goode or the USA-WWF enough. Being chosen as the recipient of this scholarship is so meaningful because I feel supported in not only my education, but also in the sport I love.

Having the leadership roles of former Women’s Captain and now Secretary for University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Waterski team has introduced me to such amazing people and refined strong leadership attributes that will be useful for years to come.

I truly am passionate about my academic studies and am eager to enter my career upon graduation. Environmental Science is a rapidly changing yet important field, and this scholarship will fund the vital knowledge and hands-on experiences needed to excel in my future.

The Dave Goode Scholarship, by request of The Dave Goode Memorial Foundation, will be given to the qualifying candidate who is an NCWSA Regionals and\or Nationals qualified undergraduate student attending an accredited trade school, college, or university. The student must be pursuing a degree in Engineering and/or Mathematics and demonstrates outstanding leadership qualities and the ability to take an innovative approach to solving problems.
