Evan Fallon from University of Rhode Island has been awarded the $1,500 Tim Olson Memorial Scholarship.
"I'm incredibly thankful for this scholarship and for all the support I've had from the show ski community throughout my life. I'm excited for what the future holds both professionally and for all the time I'll still be spending on the water." - Evan
"Growing up in show skiing taught me the value of teamwork, but it also showed me what it means to take on challenges that seem difficult at first. Learning hard skills like backwards barefooting, centering a three tier, and jumping on a crowded jump line taught me to stay persistent and keep pushing myself even when something feels difficult in the beginning. Those lessons have stayed with me far beyond the water."
The Tim Olson Memorial Scholarship was established by the family and friends of Tim Olson. A special provision of the scholarship is that it is to be given to a wake boarder or show skier.
