Kennedy Hansen from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette has been awarded the $1,000 Florida Water Ski Federation Scholarship.
"I am thankful to be the Florida Waterski Federation recipient. It’s truly an honor." says Kennedy.

"This summer I made Team USA for worlds in Italy. I am training now at Pickos ski school with my coaches Cory and Adam Pickos. I hope to reach my goal and get on the podium at open worlds. I will go back to ULL for my last semester of university and graduate with my degree in Kinesiology."

The Florida Water Ski Federation Scholarship is open to three event water ski athletes who compete in the Florida State Water Ski Championships and are currently registered students in a college or university.

The USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Foundation is very proud of our young athletes and honored to support their future academic needs. You can help support our mission by joining or donating to the foundation.
