The USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Foundation (USA-WWF) gives out more than $25,000 every year in college scholarships to young water sports athletes and the time to apply is now!

If you are a high school senior or already attending college, you are probably wondering what the USA-WWF Scholarship Committee is looking for in students when they review and rank applications. Well, it's about more than how you perform on the water. Grades, extra-curricular activities, jobs, and volunteering is part of the complete USA-WWF Student-Athlete.

Anna Gay explains in the video above how she prepared for scholarship success in water skiing, academics, and community service.

The 2020 USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony is making a comeback in 2021!! And we can't wait!!!

This All-Polk County event kicks off with the Hall of Fame Social on Friday, April 23, at the Polk County Visitor's Information Center in Davenport, Florida. Thanks to the hard work of USA-WWF Project Executive Director Hank Longo, the new Hall of Fame Display will be unveiled at the visitor's center!

And Saturday, April 24 is the big event! The Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony will take place at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida. Our 2020 Hall of Fame, Award of Distinction, and Lifetime Achievement Award Inductees will finally get their moment in the spotlight!

If you purchased tickets for the 2020 Hall of Fame, those will be valid for the 2021 event. Additional tickets will also be sold starting later this month. More details coming soon!

USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Foundation 2020 Scholarship Winner Blaze Grubbs has been named the 2020 AWSA Junior Athlete of the Year.

You may remember Blaze won the JD Morgan Boys 5 Scholarship this year by

winning Boys 5 overall at the 2020 GOODE Water Ski National Championships. He placed first in tricks, second in jumping and third in slalom in the national tournament.

Blaze also won boys’ jumping and placed second in slalom and overall, and third in tricks at the 2020 Junior Moomba Masters. And to top it off, he swept the Boys’ slalom, tricks, jumping, and overall titles at the 2020 Junior U.S. Open Water Ski Championships.

Quite a year for this incredible young athlete! Congrats Blaze!
